Update 0.1.0: Forest expansion
The forest area is now greatly expanded. There are multiple paths to explore and some areas with unique resources. The area has seven new ingredients with some new effects. The effects are subject to change in the future and save file compatibility is not yet guaranteed between versions. Also added two NPCs, one of which has a quest.
The new area opens when you bring the strongman his strength potion and complete his quest.
Next up:
Next I will be working on the farming. This will be a major new feature and will probably take some time. The plan is to have a new category of ingredients that can be farmed. The farmed ingredients would be more abundant than the rest, so their effects would also be less potent, requiring more processing to make them useful. After the farming I will return to the processing feature.
Changelog:
- Two new NPCs
- A shaman that has a quest and some lore.
- A gnome that has some dialog lines and sells stuff. His quest is to be added in a later update.
- Some new ingredients. The names and effects of these are going to change in the future, but all of the quests should work:
- Stump fungus
- Lichen
- Elf's Horn
- Dragonfly Wing
- Lily of Valley
- Spectrolite
- Red Clover
- Some bug fixes
- The volumes of the sound effects should be more balanced now.
- Fixed a bug which caused the player to teleport back to tavern door if E was pressed after exiting tavern.
- The player inventory ordering works a bit better now, the items stay in their places when inventory changes and don't change places seemingly at random.
- Some improvements to many textures
- Improved the blurry fonts in UIs
- Many more I can't now remember

Forest looks really good! Especially in the zoomed out screenshot. Great work!
Thank you very much, it means a lot! I'm still not 100% satisfied with the look, but it's been getting better.
